HTML
Web pages are made with Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). It is the language that is used to make the websites that you view on the Internet with a web browser. HTML uses a set of codes called tags to "mark up" plain text so that a web browser knows how to display the text. In other words, tags mark the text to define how it should appear when viewed as a page on the Web.
It is also important to remember that HTML is not case sensitive. This means that you can write your tags in upper-case, lower-case, or even a mixture of both. Please note however, that even though HTML is not case sensitive, it is generally considered "better" if you write your tags in lower-case. This is the norm in the the web design world. Just accept that that is how it is done.
