Break Tag
The break tag is used to move a line of text in a paragraph down to the next line, while staying within the same paragraph.
Use the <br> tag if you want a line break (a new line) without starting a new paragraph. This means that the text after the tag will start on the next line of the paragraph without having any extra space added between the lines of text. This tag is useful for example, when writing poems or addresses. The break tag is an empty tag or orphan tag. This means that it does not require a closing tag. Break Tag HTML
