Variables
In programming, a variable is a name given to a place in the computer's memory. Think of it as a placeholder for some kind of value or as a named empty box. When we want to access or use what is inside the variable or box, we simply use the variable's name. Rather than using the actual value that is inside the box we use the variable's name. This has various advantages such as being able to use the variable at a later time.
