Elements of A Webpage
Common web page elements include:
Each element is created individually when a web page is developed. The separate elements are then put together to form a complete web page. Text
Text consists of words, letters, numbers, and other symbols. (Surprised?)
Hyperlinks
A web page is connected to other Web pages through a hyperlink, which allows you to move online from one page to another. A hyperlink can be a word, phase, or graphic. Most text links are underlined and are a different color from the rest of the text. Graphic links are often in the shape of buttons, graphics, or photographs.
There are three kinds of links:
Graphics
Graphics include drawings, charts, diagrams, paintings, photographs, and navigation buttons.
Multimedia
Many websites have multimedia elements. Multimedia refers to the integration of elements such as graphics, text, audio, video, animation, and interactivity by means of computer technology. Examples are:
